Sysco needed a way to communicate why choose their service over the competitors. Initially they were looking for a whiteboard video but thankfully we were able to talk them into something that showed food with more vibrant color and life. We created a stop motion like video using photography of real food that integrated into a chalkboard style. We captured 12 images per food item (nearly 500 total) and animated the rotating image sequences to give the appearance of stop motion without the extensive labor.

Deliverables

In order to create the mixture of design and food we shot and edited nearly 500 images. We rigged each food item so that it could be rotated, moved or danced across the screen in a visually interesting way all while delivering a critical sales message.
